2 dozen ripe fresh figs
1⁄4 cup fromage blanc
1 ounce semisweet chocolate


Prepare oven according to Mugnaini’s Pizza Oven Environment, 650 – 750˚F

Stem figs then score the top in and “x” 1/4 inch deep.

Set figs on a sheet pan and roast for about 3 – 4 minutes or until they begin to release their juices and caramelize.

Remove from oven and place on a platter. Top each fig with 1/2 teaspoon of the fromage blanc and grate chocolate over the top.
